The Oxford Heart Centre is home to the regions' cardiothoracic critical care unit. 

19 bed mixed level 2 and 3 unit. Staffed by 5-7 cardiac anaesthetists

Rota: Tier of clinical fellows in CTCCU (non-resident). Second tier of ICM trainees and ST3/7 anaesthetic trainees. Approx 1:7 rota including resident nights and weekends.

Opportunities: FICE experience, post-op management, bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy
